I adhere to a strict set of ethical codes and practices, ensuring the highest standards in my work. Additionally, I engage in regular supervision to further enhance the safety and efficacy of my practice.

Code of Ethics and Practice

I am a qualified therapist with an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling awarded by the Red Kite Training institute.

I am endorsed by ITAA/IBOC as a Contractual Trainee towards becoming a Certified Transactional Analyst.

I have professional psychotherapeutic memberships with UKATA, EATA, BACP, ITAA, and the UKCP. I am also a member of The Independent Yoga Network.

I also belong to the ISSTD and run a trauma-aware and trauma-focused practice.

Integrity in Transactional Analysis is paramount; I engage with every interaction guided by ethical principles, ensuring that respect and understanding are at the core of all my communications.

Social Conscience

Physis Psychotherapy aims to conduct business in a socially responsible way—one that is keenly aware of its impact on people and the planet. This consideration incorporates practical actions and philosophical reflections.

As a psychotherapist I try to understand where and how I can make a meaningful, positive difference and contribution, in line with my intention to grow and thrive sustainably. I believe that with business growth comes a responsibility and opportunity to drive positive change.

Community is at the heart of every facet of my business, with a belief that the most helpful path forward isn’t governed by a singular voice but a collaborative one. This is at the heart of what being a relational psychotherapist is: a practice that works closely with colleagues, professional membership boards, and clients.

As global consumption continues to rise, creating jobs but also environmental and social costs, I have created a roadmap that reflects my purpose and values. Inspired by the reciprocal relationship between a tree and its surrounding ecosystem, this map is something I use as a way of considering my areas of impact, and how I can educate, cherish and promote sustainability.
